There are now so many more social media platforms out there, but it can be quite overwhelming if you are just starting out. We believe social media is a vital part of marketing and can work wonders for raising brand awareness.
With a greater need for a social presence, choosing the right one may seem difficult. A question you may ask when you approach us is how do I know what social media platforms to use for my business? Well this is where we will review your website, product offerings and develop a strategy and break it down to where we see the most value.
Your brand needs to stand out from your competitors. However, you don’t want to stretch yourself too thinly by signing up to every single social media channel from the below:
Social media platforms
- TikTok
- YouTube / Vimeo
- Tumblr
- Snapchat
According to Hubspot Facebook has 2.38 billion monthly active users, Twitter has 126 million daily active users and LinkedIn has over 500 million users. These numbers are pretty impressive and are great platforms to start using for networking.
Seeking out opportunities to create relationships with other businesses and your future clientele is a really easy yet effective way of increasing online brand awareness.
Here we will talk you through some of our favourite social media sites and the wonders you can do with them.
Facebook is a people person platform. It’s a great site to share charitable, community and fun spirited posts for all to see, react and engage. If your brand can create any of our recommended content ideas, then you will see your page grow when working with us.
Red Homes Healthcare is one of our clients and we have five Facebook accounts to manage. Over the last few months, we have seen a positive increase in likers, engagement, and we’re up 4107% on reach combined. This is a fantastic result for one month.
We are advocates for video content and feel this does extremely well with most of our clients. We can create storyboards for you to produce the content or if you would prefer, we can come out to film the shots for the video.
Twitter is a fantastic place to start a conversation. It’s a live networking site and allows users to easily connect with a brand because responses are instant. We know consumers take complaints to Twitter because it’s in the public eye and can develop into a much larger conversation.
For most businesses we would recommend utilising Twitter to its fullest potential. We will engage with users via your brand and increase your following. It is important the messaging is clear and that the correct tone of voice is used.
This platform is entirely visual with the option to add captions and up to 30 hashtags. Capturing the right image can be difficult but once you have a photography crib sheet and a strategy in place, your ideas will start to come alive. For Instagrammers to interact and notice your brand the images must stand out and be aesthetically pleasing. We recommend ensuring every image has great lighting, enough headroom if you are photographing people and that it tells a story.
What’s the next step
After we have done the initial audit, we will then work with you to create a content plan and a three-month strategy.
