Katie Whirledge - Founder/Director
Katie founded Papillon at her kitchen table in 2010, following 20 years’ experience as a journalist, advertising executive, copywriter and PR consultant. She’s seen and (almost!) done it all, and now divides her time between our office and being with clients all over the UK. Clients love Katie because she's commercial, confident and entirely entertaining. We love her because she’s full of energy, wisdom and has a great sense of fun and fairness. She's also super smart and will grasp the vital nuances of any situation, positive or challenging, in a heartbeat.

Jonathan Boddy – Crisis Communications Partner
Jonathan is our crisis guru, a veteran who in the past 20 years has managed every scenario you could possibly imagine. As a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), Jonathan is reassuringly calm is a crisis but does a great job emulating Jeremy Paxman during media training sessions. He really knows his stuff and is absolutely at the top of his game when it comes to helping our clients to get more media savvy and professionally prepared.

Andrea Williams - Account Director
Andrea is a consummate wordsmith and creative with many years of experience in the PR, marketing and design field. She likes to find the story in everything, fully understand the target audience and deliver what’s required – all with a bit of magic and common sense thrown in. She also has the tidiest workspace EVER, is a fervent stalker of bookshops the world over, and lover of dogs, her grown up kids and anything artisan or quirky, not necessarily in that order.

Abi Fairholm - Marketing Project Manager
Abi has over 20 years’ experience in marketing, working across local government, charities, start-ups, education, and reward and recognition. She’s a people person to the core, driven, kind, and all about making a difference through work that matters - in total synergy with Papillon! She brings energy and heart to every project, helping clients move things forward with clarity and purpose. Outside work, she’s mum to two fierce daughters and a wonderful labrador named Hope. She’s happiest moving, whether it’s a long walk with her husband or a fitness class with her best friend.
